World’s 50 Best Restaurants

April 28, 2010

I saw this CNN article of S. Pellegrino’s annual “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list, and had to share!  It’s a compilation of the best international restaurants and includes places in Denmark, England, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, Mexico, and more, as well as California, Chicago, and New York.

This year’s winner is Noma in Copenhagen, Denmark, which had the no. 3 spot in 2009.  Last year’s top restaurant was El Bulli in Roses, Spain, which had been the no. 1 restaurant for 4 consecutive years, but this year it fell to no. 2 on the list.

Maybe some day I’ll get to say I dined at one of the world’s best restaurants.  I sure hope so!
