Record Breaking at Wimbledon 2010

June 26, 2010

Tuesday, June 22ndThursday, June 24rd

Even if you aren’t a tennis fan, you must have heard about the recent RECORD breaking Wimbledon tennis match (we’re talking 11 hours in length, spanning three days).  It not only passed the record for the longest fifth set (no tie breakers ever in the 5th set!) in history, but also the record for longest tennis match EVER.  Isner finally was able to break Mahut and win the game!  Unbelievable.  And we thought last year’s final with Roddick and Federer was long…

Be sure to check out replays on TV or ESPN or look for clips online!  This will probably never happen again in our lifetime, or ever for that matter.

Final Score: 6-4, 3- 6, 6-7, 7-6, 70-68!

By the way…you may notice a new look to our blog…yet again.  Sorry for the initial disorientation, but we hope you like the changes!  Don’t panic though—just refer back to our “How To Navigate Our Ever-Changing Blog” post, which you can find on our “About Us” page, and all will be revealed!  And please let us know what you think of the new layout—leave a comment or email us at youngdcliving AT gmail DOT com.  We’d love to hear from you!

Enjoy the weekend!
